Sculpture Placement Group are exploring ways of prolonging the life span of sculptures via action research and piloting alternative models.

We work across sectors, consult directly with artists, arts organisations, academic institutions and community groups to encourage sustainable working within the visual arts sector, facilitate engagement with sculptural practice and improve the economic and practical conditions for artists.

Our flagship project is the Sculpture Adoption Scheme, which, rather like an art rental scheme, matches artworks with new homes, but keeps them safe for the artists to use in the future.

Sculpture Placement Group are a registered Community Interest Company with four directors; Martin Craig, Kate V Robertson, Michelle Emery-Barker ad Nicola Godsal.
